The Intermediate First Aid Course Surrey is a WorkSafeBC recognized program that teaches workers how to respond to injuries and medical emergencies until professional medical help arrives.
This certification replaces the older Occupational First Aid Level 2 (OFA Level 2) program and focuses on practical emergency response training.
Participants learn essential skills including:
• Patient assessment and emergency scene management
• CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
• Bleeding control and shock management
• Fracture and spinal injury treatment
• Workplace trauma response
• Transportation of injured workers
These skills are critical for industries where accidents may occur before emergency services arrive.
